kia ev4

Kia has unveiled the latest addition to its EV lineup, the EV4.

Teased as a concept back in 2023, the production EV4 design closely mirrors its initial conception. Kia has released a selection of images and general information, building anticipation for the full reveal at the 2025 Kia EV Day event in Spain later this month.

Offered in both saloon and hatchback configurations, the Kia EV4 is designed to appeal to a broad audience. It’s anticipated that the EV4 will slot between the compact EV3 and the larger SUV-style EV6. While specific specifications remain under wraps, the EV4 will utilise Kia’s E-GMP platform, suggesting the availability of 58kWh and 81kWh battery options.

Though official pricing is still pending, indications suggest the EV4 will be positioned around the £35,000 mark.

Its competitive landscape will feature rivals such as the VW ID.3, the Hyundai Kona Electric, the Renault Mégane E-Tech, and the Mini Aceman.
