A double win for Ford this year as the Ford Transit Connect was named as Fleet Light Van of the Year for the sixth time while its bigger brother, the Ford Transit made it 14 years in a row as it took top award as “Fleet Panel Van of the Year”
The Association of Car Fleet Operators (ACFO) know a thing or two about cars & vans and based upon that, they give awards every year based upon what they and their members consider to be the best vehicle.
Around 100,000 vans that are operated by the biggest 50 contract hire and leasing companies in the UK made up the survey. The survey concluded that Ford vans were the most “dependable” whilst Transit was the most “reliable” and that’s the second year running Ford have won this honor.
Meanwhile, the Volkswagen Golf range won the ACFO Fleet Car of the Year Award for the second year running.
