We had the privilege of handing over a brand new, sign written Transit Courier to the breast cancer charity littlelifts.
At the start of October, Louise Smith, Leasing Account Manager at BVL, headed out to the littlelifts office to handover their beautifully sign-written (CiM Signs & Graphics) new Transit Courier.
What is littlelifts?
littlelifts aim to provide practical and emotional support to women who face chemotherapy treatment for breast cancer, supplying them with a carefully created littlelifts box at the start of or during their treatment. Currently, their support focuses on women in Norfolk & Suffolk but they hope to reach as many women as possible in East Anglia in the future.
We were excitingly greeted by Oa Hackett (Founder), Kay Phoenix (Operations & Events Executive), Shopie Houghton-Hood (Trustee, Fundraising & Events) & Oa’s dog Norma at their office and warmly invited in to learn more about the work littlelifts do. The team took the time to show us and explain the items that are in the boxes such as, a heatpack – as patients may get cold or experience muscle pain during treatment, chilli oil & mixed herbs – as things may taste different during treatment & these will add flavour, lip balm, chocolate and so much more!
We also got to find out how much of a difference having their own van will make to the organisation. Aiding them in delivering even more littlelifts boxes to their hospital partners across Norfolk & Suffolk, hosting more important packing parties and collecting more stock from their warehouse.
We’d like to thank littlelifts for giving us such a warm welcome and for all the brilliant work they are doing to help women who are going through treatment for breast cancer.
