Yet More Car Awards – Does Your Car Figure? Do You Agree?

TOP PRIZE!
Overall Car Of The Year – Hyundai i30
So there you have it, a pretty much completely different set of results, with a distinctly Far Eastern flavour as Korean car makers take 3 “best off’s” and win overall car of the year and figure strongly in each category where they are represented. German cars gain score well as you might expect.
Strange though, looking at some of the categories to see results like an 1100cc Kia Rio, pitched against a BMW 5 Series as greenest car, or the best convertible award going to a Golf, whilst the £110,000 + Audi R8 gets a commended in the same category.
But then, that’s what makes these types of awards, erm? Errr? now what’s the word I’m looking for? Oh I know “pointless”
