Kia has officially unveiled the EV4 at its 2025 EV Day in Tarragona, Spain.
The EV4 further diversifies Kia’s broad range of electric offerings. Available in both saloon and hatchback body styles, the EV represents Kia’s entry into the electric C-segment.
Battery: There will be two options available: 58.3kWh standard and 81.4kWh long-range.
Performance: 0-62mph in 7.4 seconds
Charge Time: 10-80% in 31 minutes (Long-Range Model)
Range (saloon): 267 miles standard-range, 391 miles long-range
Range (hatchback): 366 miles long-range
Inside, the EV4 features a 30-inch display screen that integrates navigation and entertainment functions. Enabling users to stream content from platforms like YouTube and Netflix. The EV4 also comes with a host of other technological features, including, a voice recognition system, a digital key accessible via smartphone or smartwatch, and V2L (Vehicle to Load) and V2G (Vehicle to Grid) capability which provides power to external devices or feed energy back to the grid.
The EV4 presents distinct exterior styles for its two body types. The saloon model features a sleek, elongated profile with a traditional four-door design, emphasizing a streamlined aesthetic. In contrast, the hatchback variant adopts a more compact, sporty silhouette with a sloping rear window and a liftback tailgate.Both models incorporate a low front profile, but the rear styling is where the primary visual difference lies. Inside, both versions share a minimalist design with a unique steering wheel. Dimensionally, the hatchback is similar in size to Kia’s EV3 model, while the saloon is longer than the EV6. A sportier GT-line version, featuring design enhancements, will be available for both body styles.
