To celebrate their involvement as support vehicles for Ewan McGregor and Charley Boormans latest motorcycle adventure the “Long Way Down” as featured in the BBC series, Nissan have announced details of two “Long Way Down” special editions.
The first is based on Nissans superb Navara, with the other vehicle getting the treatment being the world renowned Patrol.
Both vehicles will get leather upholstery, electric sunroof, cruise control and unique “Long Way Down” body decals, badges and floor mats.
Want to go one better than that? Well Nissan are even offering to upgrade you further with the “Long Way Down – Expedition” version, which offers DVD Satellite Navigation with 7” colour display and voice activation, premium audio with MP3 CD compatibility and a choice of transmissions with a 6-speed manual or 5 speed automatic.
We like the Navara & the Patrol a lot and it didn’t take Obi-Wan Kenobi riding a motorbike to convince us, but as with Mr McGregor, both of these superb Nissans look good enough to go to take a trip to the Moulin rouge yet strong enough to take on the “dark side”
Price wise, the Navara 2.5DCi starts in at £21104 for the “long Way Down”, going up to £23,454 for the “Expedition” and £24747 for the “Expedition” auto.
The Patrol 3.0DCi continues to offer great value of a 4×4 at £25995 for the manual and £27395 for the auto.
