Nissan are shortly to launch a range of light commercial vehicles with special bodies that you can buy direct from the local dealer, rather than having to buy the basic vehicle then getting them converted yourself.
The Good-To-Go range will include tippers, box vans, dropsides and refrigerated vehicles. Kubistar, Primastar, Interstar and Cabstar will all be offered with some kind of conversion.
Buying the vehicle as a finished item will save time and ensure the quality of the conversion is top notch, matching Nissan’s high standards, but another bonus is that the vehicle will be covered by Nissans normal three year 60,000 mile warranty and I guess that includes the conversion as well.
Nissan claims its “Specialist CV Dealers” will carry ALL versions in stock and that means around 55 dealers across the UK and as well as dealer stock, Nissan will hold a central stock of vehicles also.
It’s promised that each dealer will also run a fleet of demonstrators
Its clear Nissan are getting serious about the light commercial market, so it will be interesting to see if they manage to achieve this part of their strategy.
