With a 3.0 litre D-4D engine and motorsport performance upgrade, Toyota’s new Hi-Lux Invincible 200 Double Cab pickup is billed as the most powerful ever available in the UK.
The upgrade takes the power from 171ps in the current Invincible up to 197ps (hence the 200 name). Torque is increased massively from 343nm to 430nm and power is sustained all the way from 1600, to 3200 rpm.
Externally, the new truck gets metallic paintwork, stainless steel mesh grille and metallic alloys (what ever that means). On the inside the Invincible 200 gets a two-tone grey leather trim and front seat heaters, plus air-conditioning, an MP3 audio system and full-map touch screen sat nav.
Prices on the road start at £20,795, but you had better rush down to your local dealer if you want one as production is limited to just 500 units.
